Subtle Enhancements. Still Completely You.
Expression lines, volume changes, and changes around the lips and lower face can affect how refreshed you feel. Harbor Dental offers personalized Botox® and dermal filler treatments designed to soften selected concerns and create balanced, natural-looking results.
Botox® Cosmetic is a prescription treatment that temporarily reduces activity in selected facial muscles responsible for certain expression lines. Dermal fillers are injectable materials used to restore or add volume in approved areas of the face. The two work differently and may be recommended separately or together as part of a planned approach — though injectables cannot address every concern; your provider will evaluate whether Botox®, filler, dental treatment, or another option best supports your goals. (Injectables do not correct cavities, gum disease, tooth alignment, structural tooth damage, or missing teeth.)

Neuromodulator treatment can temporarily soften targeted lines caused by repeated facial movement.

Dermal fillers may enhance contour or replace volume in selected treatment areas.

Treatment is planned around your facial anatomy, movement, proportions, and personal goals.

Bring details about previous injectable products, treatment areas, dates, and complications whenever available.

Injectable treatment may be appropriate for healthy adults seeking temporary, nonsurgical improvement of selected facial concerns.
You may benefit from a consultation if you:
Treatment may need to be postponed or avoided based on pregnancy, breastfeeding, infection, allergies, medications, neurological conditions, previous reactions, or other health considerations.

Dental and facial-aesthetic treatment may affect the same visible areas of the smile. Your provider may consider upcoming dental procedures, lip position and smile display, crowns, veneers, bonding, Invisalign® treatment, changes to the bite, or recent oral surgery. Tell your provider about any upcoming dental work — the timing of injectables and dental treatment should be coordinated so healing and the final result can be evaluated appropriately.
Most injectable appointments involve a series of quick injections. Patients may notice a pinch, pressure, tenderness, or temporary stinging — comfort measures like topical numbing, cold application, and a slower injection technique may help.
Contact Harbor Dental if you experience:
Botulinum toxin products carry serious safety warnings, and accidental injection of filler into a blood vessel can cause rare but severe complications — including tissue injury, vision problems, blindness, or stroke. Prompt professional evaluation is essential when warning symptoms occur.

Pricing depends on the product, treatment area, amount used, and whether future maintenance is desired. Cosmetic injectable treatment is generally not covered by dental insurance.
Follow your provider’s written instructions, avoid rubbing or pressing treated areas unless directed, and avoid strenuous activity or excessive heat for the recommended period. Allow temporary swelling or bruising to settle, attend recommended follow-up appointments, and contact the office about unusual symptoms. Results are temporary — timing of onset and duration varies by product, treatment area, anatomy, metabolism, and dose.

Modern dental care with a calm, transparent, family-first approach. Every detail is designed to help you feel confident, comfortable, and cared for.

Botox® temporarily reduces activity in selected muscles to soften expression lines, while fillers add or restore volume beneath the skin — they work differently and address different concerns. They may be used in the same overall treatment plan, though the FDA notes that the safety of combining dermal fillers with neuromodulators hasn’t been evaluated in controlled clinical studies.
Timing and duration vary by product, treatment area, dose, anatomy, and individual response — your provider will explain when changes may begin and when to expect the result to fade.
The goal of conservative treatment is a natural result. Outcomes still vary, and no provider can guarantee a specific appearance.
Some hyaluronic-acid fillers may be treated with an enzyme when clinically appropriate, but reversal is itself a medical procedure and may not fully restore the previous appearance. Botox® effects aren’t immediately reversible and generally diminish over time.
Temporary redness, tenderness, swelling, bruising, headache, or asymmetry may occur. Specific risks vary between botulinum toxin and filler products.
Yes. Although uncommon, botulinum toxin products and dermal fillers can cause serious complications — filler injected into a blood vessel can lead to tissue injury, vision problems, blindness, or stroke, and botulinum toxin products carry a boxed warning regarding spread of toxin effects. See “Safety Information & When to Seek Care” above for warning signs.
Elective cosmetic injections are commonly postponed because product safety may not be established for these circumstances. Discuss your situation with the treating provider and your medical clinician.
Choose a licensed healthcare professional who is appropriately trained, uses authentic FDA-approved products, understands facial anatomy, and can identify and manage complications.
These are adult treatments requiring informed consent, and readiness depends on facial development, medical history, and the ability to understand the temporary nature of results. [Note: Harbor Dental should confirm and publish its minimum-age and consent policy before promoting injectable care to younger patients.]
Harbor Dental may welcome new facial-aesthetic patients based on provider availability and eligibility. A consultation is required before treatment.
Whether you want to soften selected expression lines, restore subtle volume, or explore how facial aesthetics can complement your smile, Harbor Dental can help you understand your options.
